just wondering how to save a file to cassette tape on an apple IIe. tried save 'name of program' cursor dissapeared computer beeped once and than beeped twice. got a syntax error message.
read about saving a file to tape from two seperate books one said to just type save and file name the other book said to put filename in quotation marks. I was using a ge tape recorder, tried to plug a cable into the mic jack and the rem jack. do i need a special tape recorder for my apple IIe?

Cassette Man Mac Os Catalina
With it or on it mac os. I recently digitized an old audio cassette tape to my computer and made a MP3 file. In this video, I'll show you how I did it. First, I purchased a Reshow US. If your Mac has a microphone input and you are importing from a cassette deck or an amplified phonograph, you're almost set. All you need is a Y-cable, with red and white analog component-audio.
